Why do you think most comics writers seem to lean politically to the left? Often these political leanings are obvious by the work they write, there are very few consevative writers.

I don’t know that this is true. I think there are more conservative writers than you may think. But writing a character isn’t the same as agreeing with a character’s point of view.
I don’t think that’s especially true. I can name at least a handful of writers whose political views, so far as I can tell, lean towards the right. Bill Willingham, for instance. And a number of writers are SO far left that they’re not really on the spectrum at all, like Grant Morrison and Alan Moore.
